New Book on Israel and Replacement Theology

This looks like a really good book. It doesn't appear to be a light and fluffy read, by any means, but an important one. It's about supersessionism, the view that God’s dealings with Israel have been superceded by the Church. In other words, this belief claims that the promises originally intended for God's chosen people, Israel, have been transfered over to the Church, and that the Jews have lost their special status as God’s chosen people. This is otherwise known as replacement theology.

This brand new book is called The Jews, Modern Israel and the New Supercessionism, and is edited by Calvin Smith (Principal of King's Evangelical Divinity School). The contributors include Andy Cheung, Jacob Prasch, Stephen M. Vantassel, Howard Taylor, Paul Wilkinson and Tony Pearce.
