Laurie, Smith and...Warren? (UPDATED)(updated again)

Okay, the good thing is that the Harvest Crusade broke the '4 millionth person reached' record this weekend, but what's with this?
Joining Laurie on stage on the special night were his family and Pastors Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel and Rick Warren of Saddleback Church.

I'm not about to go so far as to conclude, as some bloggers (see here), that the entire Calvary Chapel movement has now gone apostate, since I attend a very solid Calvary Chapel and believe each church is accountable to the Lord, not any individual or church model. That said, I must admit that I am extremely dissappointed with this news.

Read this Rapture Ready forum conversation thread on this topic.

UPDATE:

Watch this short clip of Chuck Smith and RW together on stage at Greg Laurie's blog.
[And to all those fellow Calvary Chapelites who love Chuck Smith and are feeling truly shocked or extremely confused after watching that - remember, just keep your eyes on Jesus, as Chuck Smith always says.]

***Another update: I haven't been able to find anything else written on the internet by those who are puzzled by these things, until now when I came across this:

There's only one more theory that one might conclude from this confusion, and that is that perhaps Greg Laurie and Chuck Smith are trying to evangelize RW. In the meantime, I shall be wearing my Eeyore ears.

I know of some CC pastors who will be very shocked by this. I am shocked by this. I feel a split coming on!

I am stunned, actually, and can only imagine how some pastors might feel about this. Strange thing is...I don't see much of a reaction anywhere on the internet.
