What do you think about these things?
Alpha in Pubs and RestaurantsAnd this...
Alpha serves up food for thought in comfortable settings. Pubs and restaurants and other familiar gathering-places are perfect venues for the Alpha course. The important thing is that you're in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere while you explore the meaning of life with others!

Alpha in a Catholic ContextHmmm. As we were trained to say when we signed up to help in Alpha a few years ago, "I don't know. What do you think?" (Actually, I do know what I think, I just want to know what you think.)
Since its inception, Alpha has run frequently in a Catholic church setting. Whatever the setting, the focus of Alpha is the same -- giving people the opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

Note: While the above article is informative, I personally do NOT endorse Hank Hanegraaff of CRI (or the Alpha course). (OOPS - my apologies for the typo earlier! ...as readers drop like flies...argh...good thing I checked my e-mail today...)
