While scientists don't think it's a comet, they're not exactly sure of the precise origin of the incredible object soaring some 90 million miles from Earth, snapped just a few weeks ago by the Hubble Space Telescope.Check it out here:
"I've seen thousands of astronomical images over my career, but this is one of the few absolute jaw-droppers: A flying X-pattern with trailing streamers," said Ray Villard, a contributing writer to Discovery News. "Whatever it is, nothing quite like it has ever before been seen in the heavens."
Is this incredible thing in heavens a sign from God?

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Ooh I saw this one Carla. I couldn't help myself, I found it exciting!
Hi carla this is the meaning of that X mysterious image. :)
Sorry to give up anyone hopes that it could be some unidentified object far away in space!

Hi.
Interesting. :)
So according to that...two small asteroids collided, creating a shower of debris that is being swept back into a tail by the pressure of sunlight. It also seems to infer that this thing (which they call P/2010 A2) belongs to the 100 million year old Flora asteroid family, one ancient fragment of which may have struck Earth 65 million years ago, causing the extinction of the dinosaurs.
That's one theory. It's always interesting how they have to throw in the billions of years thing. On that note, what about this:
"Every time a comet comes near the sun, some of its icy material is blasted away by the solar radiation. As a result, comets can orbit the sun for only so long (perhaps about 100,000 years at most) before they completely run out of material. Since we still have a lot of comets, this suggests that the solar system is much younger than 100,000 years; this agrees perfectly with the Bible’s history.
Yet, secular astronomers believe the solar system is 4.5 billion years old."

Isn't that interesting? It looks like the way one interpret these things all boils down to the foundational worldview one bases one's opinion on.
So maybe it's just a meteor trail, but the billions of years thing is debatable. I personally believe that if God is powerful enough to create the universe, he can certainly give us some very cool "signs in the heavens" that we just can't explain away.
Just found this regarding NASA and how NASA isn't totally unbiased.
The below quote is important because you can read for yourself that so called scientific research is biased and this quote comes from James McCanney who is an unbeliever. He noted the following regarding NASA…
[...] on this past week’s show I talk about things from the past and the strange fact that archaeology in its current form is not serving the public but is serving the people who create "theories" about our past … much like NASA bad science … they create theories out of thin air and based on severe bias which has to agree with "accepted knowledge" … and this bias includes the undeniable fact that NO ONE in standard "knowledge" understands or accepts that the MOST IMPORTANT event in modern human history … the great earth-wide conflagration and flood … this shaped modern man and literally everything about him … ancient societies scream with content related to this event but archaeologists repeatedly deny this giving every type of bizarre interpretation to their findings as they are the "experts" … also following the NASA mandated lead that NOTHING severe has happened in the past 10,000 years related to serious earth catastrophes … so the most important event that would affect ALL of these fields of study is denied and ignored … any wonder we live in a completely nuts world … but make no mistake … this is by design … misinformation floods the internet and air waves on purpose with the few people at the top knowing that this is going on as they use fleets of ego hungry peons to do their bidding and pawn off misinformation to you the public [...]

Oh read what Scott Brisk has written in his latest newsletter.
Ever since I first heard this quote from Josephus concerning the sign in the heavens just before the Romans destroyed the Second Temple in 70 AD, I have not failed to be extremely struck by the implications:
Thus were the miserable people persuaded by these deceivers, and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend nor give credit to the signs that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation, but, like men infatuated, without either eyes to see or minds to consider, did not regard the denunciations that God made to them. Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood over the city, and a comet, that continued a whole year.
- Flavius Josephus, "Wars of the Jews", Book VI, Chapter 5
Now that's interesting isn't it?
Wow, that is amazing Vee! He talks about the flood! Very interesting!
And didn't NASA have something to do with the exposure of the global warming hoax?
Oh, and about that Josephus quote, good find, Vee! I'm just looking it up in my book. A few sentences farther on it says this:
"...so great a light shone round the altar and the holy house, that it appeared to be bright day time; which lasted for half and hour. This light seemed to be a good sign to the naive, but was so interpreted by the sacred scribes, as too portend those events that followed immediately upon it." (it says this was during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, but the way, on the 8th day.)
Just before this Josephus says that "there was then a great number of false prophets suborned by the tyrants to impose on the people, who pronounced this to them, that they should wait for deliverance from God, and this was in order to keep them from deserting, and that they might be buoyed up above fear and care by such hopes."
Of course we know from history that those who did not flee died. Those were false prophets, and the signs were being falsely interpreted of the coming destruction.
Reminds me of how JJ Prasch always says that the events in the times preceding the judgment of Israel are always a foreshadowing of the last days.
Fascinating, don't you think?
And yes, I read the BeAlert thing. Interesting.
I've linked to your post now as well.
Have a good weekend!
Wow... that is interesting Carla. We have history repeating itself for sure.
Thanks for adding my link!
You have a good weekend too :)
