A Much Better Thing to go to

Here's where churches should be sending their leaders to get equipped instead of Willow Creek leadership training conferences (see last post)...

This one is happening this coming weekend:

RED RIVER BIBLE AND PROPHECY CONFERENCE 2010
www.titus213hope.com

Now there's a speaker line up:

You won't hear any ear tickling, self help, ecumenical, seeker friendly drivel at this one!

My wife and I will be attending, looking forward to hearing all the good speakers. We have attended this conference the two years that it has been held. Definitly no ear tickling here, not with David Hocking and Jacob Prasch speaking. It has been a great and challenging time. Please join us in prayer that the rising waters of the Red River will not hinder the conference or the people who will be traveling to get to Moorhead Minnesota.

No kidding! Wow, would I ever love to be there! Hocking was just up here in Canada last week.

That's quite a parallel when you think about it - as the rising waters of apostasy are at a dangerous level and keeping God's people from the truth.

May God bless you all at the conference!

Just returned home from the weekend attending the Red River Bible and Prophecy Conference. As you accuratly said there will no ear tickling there. You are exactly correct. David Hocking is such a great Bible teacher, and Jacob Prasch makes the Bible come alive with his teaching. Warren Smith gave very interesting talks on his journey through the new age and all the so called evangelicals who are aligning themselves with very questionable authors and teachings. John Higgins also gave very practicle ways to live a Holy life in Last Days. Carl Teicrib showed how globalization is effecting missions and how the world is on the road to accepting a universal government, religion, currency, and leader. A weekend well worth my time as it challenged me to strive to live a life first that is pleasing to God and also an example to the world around me. I want to thank all who prayed for the conference that could have been threatened by flooding in the Fargo Morehead area. The river seems to have crested at lower that expected and for that I say Praise the Lord.
